Question Is there any N/? = Damage Deal?

Well, I've been inaktive with GW for a while now but today a friend of mine bought the game and I thought I could give the game another chance...

*I got inaktive because of all my builds sucked and I never found any that fit me, (into assassin-like-professions in other mmorpg). One of the biggest mistakes that might have been the cause is that I tried to do characters for both PvE and PvP and not with only one purpoise.

Well, and I thought Necro was one of my favorites from earlier... and I also want to be a Damage Dealer, if there is any good ones N/?...

I want to Be Able to solo (hench) as well as being in a party with other, and at same time do something usefull, I'm not that kind of person who just want to stand there and do something that you could have been doing better without... sort of speak.

I've been looking around and found N/E or N/Me could be the ones for this, but dont know which Attributes or skills to use so please give suggestions on builds that could work... And don't just said "use the search" etc. I've been looking around very much, but havnt found much and don't know what would work great or not...

btw. it's mainly for PvE

Thanks in advice

Necros are awesome, I love working with a good necro, Doesnt matter which line they are using, Blood, curses, Death, they always seem to add to the group dynamic...Some of my favorite skills are Spinal shivers, when coupled with a ranger secondary with winter...just interupt everything.

If its mainly PvE you can dish out decent damage by going Death Magic with either minions or the large damage from putrid explosion.

You can also do very large amounts of armor ignoring damage by going blood spike/degen.

I was aware of that, but what I meant was that I don't know which ones that I SHOULD use...

This is the build I'm using of late. I run Watchful Spirit to help with the sacrificing and because I have so much energy coming in from Soul Reaping or Offering of Blood.

Necromancer/Monk Level: 20

Soul Reaping: 13 (12+1)
Blood Magic: 16 (12+4)
Protection Prayers: 3

- Awaken the Blood (Blood Magic)
For 46 seconds, you gain +2 Blood Magic and +2 Curses, but whenever you sacrifice Health, you sacrifice 50% more than the normal amount.
Energy:10 Cast:1 Recharge:45

- Dark Pact (Blood Magic)
Sacrifice 10% Health and deal 51 shadow damage to target foe.
Energy:5 Cast:1 Recharge:2

- Shadow Strike (Blood Magic)
Target foe takes 50 shadow damage. If that foe's Health is above 50%, you steal 50 Health.
Energy:10 Cast:2 Recharge:8

- Vampiric Gaze (Blood Magic)
Steal 63 Health from target foe.
Energy:10 Cast:1 Recharge:5

- Vampiric Touch (Blood Magic)
Touch target foe to steal up to 77 Health.
Energy:15 Cast:0.75 Recharge:2

- Offering of Blood [Elite] (Blood Magic)
Sacrifice 10% maximum Health. You gain 21 Energy.
Energy:5 Cast:0.25 Recharge:15

- Watchful Spirit (Divine Favor)
While you maintain this Enchantment, target ally gains +2 Health regeneration. That ally is healed for 30..150 Health when Watchful Spirit ends.
Energy:15 Cast:2 Recharge:10

- Rebirth (Protection Prayers)
Resurrect target party member. Target party member is returned to life with 25% Health and zero Energy, and is teleported to your current location. All of target's skills are disabled for 9 seconds. This Spell consumes all of your remaining Energy.
Energy:10 Cast:6 Recharge:0

New! Improved! Now with twice the sacrifice power!

Offering of Blood [Elite] (Blood Magic)
Sacrifice 20% maximum Health. You gain 21 Energy.
Energy:5 Cast:0.25 Recharge:15

Careful running it with Awaken. 30% sac, ouch.

you need to read thru the skills. we can give you builds all day but it won't help as much as you understanding the skills and chosing for yourself what you would like to do.

You SHOULD use the ones that best compliment each other, have synergy and will function in the area where you are fighting. I know it is tempting to just come out and ask for a build, but you need to understand the things you put on your skillbar rather than just put whatever someone tells you.

There aren't that many skills to read through and use a modicum of thought process to throw something together.

I find it more productive to respond to a thread along the lines of "I have a minion master build and seems like I am missing something. Here's what I have, how can I make it better?" rather than "Give me MM build, i want to pwn all"

Default Hmmm....

Well, heres a build i have used on my necro in the past, and found it quite fun...

N/W

Blood: 14 (11+3)
Soul Reaping: 12 (8+4)
Tactics: 11

Flurry
Order of the Vampire [E]
Plague Touch/Distracting Blow/Wild Blow/Res Signet
Deadly Ripost
Ripost
Vampric Touch
Vampric Gaze
Well of Blood

so yeah. I just sort of spam Order of the Vampire, use flurry to get the most out of it, hit Ripost and Deadly Ripost whenever im under attack, and use the vamprics whenever I get seriously wounded. I find that Order and Well increase the survivability of my party quite a bit, as well as adding damage to all physical damage dealers. (incidentally, when using henchies be sure to grab both melees and the ranger) I use a sword with the Enchanting mod and the best sheild I could find.
